Our Committees
Volunteerism has always been a cornerstone of the Jewish community's identity. To ensure the success of our mission of fostering a warm and welcoming environment, active participation in committee work is crucial.
Our committees present an excellent opportunity to expand your social circle and make meaningful contributions. At the LAS Jewish Center, we offer a diverse range of committees catering to various interests. Some committees evolve over time to meet the changing needs of our congregation, while new ones are formed based on member requests.
Beyond committees, we are proud to be associated with various organizations, known as "arms," that provide enriching educational, social, and spiritual programs for the Jewish community.
These programs directly contribute to enhancing the quality of Jewish life in our synagogue. Below, you will find a listing of our committees. If you're interested in getting involved, please reach out to the designated chairs.
We wholeheartedly encourage you to participate in the wide array of programs and services offered by our arms and committees. Your engagement and support are vital to the strength and vibrancy of our community.
As always, if you have any questions, please call the office at 845-794-8470
